Joining thousands of organizations worldwide, Global Blue has integrated API Gateway to ensure security, performance, and high availability.

Operating across 52 countries, Global Blue connects shoppers and brands. The business provides tax-free shopping services for 15 million travellers, payment services for 22 million travellers, and post-purchase services for 52 million e-commerce shoppers.

Global Blue is leveraging the API Gateway as part of a hybrid setup to manage multiple environments, supporting an iterative development approach. Through , the system then provides endpoints to production, handling both internal and external traffic.

As Global Blue’s infrastructure continues to grow, the Gateway plays a pivotal role in managing authentication, authorization, policy enforcement, and traffic management.
